Raymond Lambert talks new memoir 'Phunny Business'

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - For almost a decade "All Jokes Aside" was one of the premiere comedy clubs in the country and it was located right here in Chicago.

The club was the brainchild of Raymond Lambert who enlisted a college buddy to build a booming business showcasing black talent.

But sadly, the stand-up craze ended, and the club closed.

Lambert joined FOX 32 News at Noon to talk about his new memoir called "All Jokes Aside: Standup Comedy is a Phunny Business" which provides a deep look into his successes, failures, and lessons learned from running the comedy showcase.
