Sunday storm knocks down trees, damages cars and pelts area with hail

BRADLEY, Illinois (Fox 32 News) Another round of storms ripped through the Chicago suburbs on Sunday, leaving more damage behind.

Residents of Bradley, which is southwest of Chicago, were hit by a torrential downpour that knocked trees down on cars, rooftops and fences.

There were also reports of powerlines down in Iroquois and Kankakee counties.

Golfball-size hail pounded homes and dented cars throughout the area.

Storms also caused street flooding and problems across other Chicago counties including Lake, McHenry, and Kane.
