TE Martellus Bennett back for Chicago Bears minicamp

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) - Chicago Bears tight end Martellus Bennett is working out with the team for the first time under coach John Fox after staying away from optional offseason workouts while trying to get a new contract.

Bennett finds the new offense within his grasp and both quarterback Jay Cutler and Fox were impressed by what they saw of him in Tuesday's first practice.

Bennett initially said Tuesday he would be at training camp when it opens July 29, but then added, "There's always a possibility," referring to the chance of being a holdout.
