(FOX News) - Federal authorities along with Indiana police raided a house Thursday as part of the ongoing investigation into the 2011 disappearance of Lauren Spierer.
Law enforcement sources confirmed to Fox 59 a man who used to live at the Morgan County property could be connected to the disappearances of Spierer and two other people as well. The Morgan County sheriff said the property was located in the 2900 block of Old Morgantown Road. Bloomington Police Department confirmed the raid in a news release.
The FBI agents, along with cadaver dogs, searched the property that belonged to Justin Wagers’ family. A dig was also conducted at the site, but nothing was found, according to the Fox affiliate. Law enforcement officials are turning to Wagers for any information regarding the disappearances. He’s being held at Johnson County Jail.
Wagers lived at the property before he was arrested in August for indecent exposure. He was accused of exposing himself at an Indiana gas station. Fox 59 reported police said Wagers was being investigated for a series of flashing incidents across the state, but couldn’t confirm whether Wagers was connected to each case.
