GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado (Fox 32 News) - Wildlife officers were hunting a bear in Colorado on Sunday after it attacked a 5-year-old girl.
The child was grabbed in or near her own home in Grand Junction around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Department said. The girl's mother heard her screaming and saw the bear dragging the child. The mother's screams scared the bear away.
The girl was hospitalized in fair condition on Sunday afternoon.
