Elf on the Shelf checks out International Space Station

OUTER SPACE (Fox 32 News) - The Elf on the Shelf is taking a trip out of this world.
Astronaut Anne McClain shared a photo of the Elf next to a gadget on the International Space Station called a MELFI. That's an acronym for Minus Eighty-Degree Laboratory Freezer for ISS.
Samples inside the MELFI are colder than the North Pole. They are preserved until they can be returned to scientists on the ground.
