Teacher accused of putting 12-year-old in choke hold for 'trash talking'

WINTER HAVEN, Florida (Fox 32 News) - A middle school substitute gym teacher is accused of choking a student who was "trash talking."
Robert Knight allegedly told police that he "lost his cool" when the 12-year-old was hassling him.
Fox 13 reports that Knight ripped off his shirt and challenged the boy to a fight. When the boy refused, Knight allegedly put him in a choke hold and shoved him against a wall.
Knight is charged with negligent child abuse and the school district said he will no longer be allowed to teach.
