Woman killed by dry ice fumes

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Washington (Fox 32 News) - A Washington state woman was killed by dry ice.

KOMO News reports that the woman, 77, and her daughter-in-law were riding in her son's car. He is an ice cream salesman and had four coolers of dry ice in the back of the car.

The fumes escaped from the coolers and the older woman suffocated.
