Yes, marijuana is legal in Colorado. So why was this pot farm busted?

EL PASO COUNTY, COLORADO (Fox 32 News) - Firefighters found an illegal marijuana farm in Colorado while fighting a brush fire.

Over 100 illegal plants were found in El Paso County on Saturday. The El Paso County Sheriff's Office said that they were in the flowering stage ready for harvest.

It might be legal to grow and sell marijuana in parts of Colorado, but that does not mean it's legal everywhere. El Paso County does not allow retail sales of marijuana. Individual users in the County are allowed to have 12 plants per home.

The "Carson Midway Fire" was started by troops doing a training drill on an Army base nearby. It destroyed three homes and a number of boats and automobiles.
