Clinton addresses women at Rainbow PUSH convention

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Hillary Clinton is the keynote speaker Monday for the International Women’s Luncheon at the Rainbow PUSH Coalition’s Convention.

Women there are looking for leadership in the areas of careers and education.

The convention opened with educators, parents and students discussing the importance of funding, a hot topic in Illinois.

Also a hot topic, politics. Clinton is leading Republican Donald Trump in recent polls and in fundraising efforts.

While in her hometown, she’ll attend a high roller fundraiser in Streeterville, appearing with Chicago favorite Michelle Williams, formerly of Destiny’s Child.

Women say Clinton is the ultimate role model.

Rev. Jesse Jackson endorsed Clinton two weeks ago and said on Monday he hopes she’ll talk about what he called the killing fields of Chicago and ways to reduce violence and poverty in the city.
