Hillary Clinton to attend 3 Chicago fundraisers Monday

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Hillary Clinton will travel to Chicago Monday to attend three fundraisers in the hopes of charging up her presidential campaign.

Clinton, a Park Ridge native is the Democratic front runner. She is hoping to add major money to her political war chest at the three Chicago fundraisers. Monday will mark Clinton's fourth visit to the Windy City since she launched her presidential campaign.

In the morning, Clinton will attend an event at the Gold Coast home of Tanya and Michael Polsky, the CEO of Invenergy.  At noon she will head to the Hyatt, where Mayor Rahm Emanuel will introduce Clinton at a reception targeting Chicago’s legal community. Finally, she will attend a late afternoon fundraiser in Evanston at the home of Eric Janssen, the president of Chicago Real Estate Resources Inc.

According to a report from the Chicago Sun Times, in addition to the fundraisers, Clinton may also hold a small, private meeting with African-Americans on Monday, to follow up on Friday’s kickoff of “African-Americans for Hillary.”
