With the 2016-17 school year just around the corner, some parents are wondering where their students will be enrolled. The looming CPS budget shortfall and tensions between the teacher union and school system increasing has many families wondering what their options are if schools do not open on time.
Chicago has a vast array of K-12 programming throughout the city. Specifically for our cities’ high school student population one school system is proving to have great success in our south side neighborhoods. Camelot Education operates four accelerated high school models for students aged 15 to 21 years old providing a high school diploma tract at an accelerated pace. Students can graduate in 2.5 years.
Since making a home in Chicago four years ago, Camelot has graduated over 600 students. Their programs offer a wide variety of options for their students. Students and parents alike should visit a campus to learn about their enrollment process.
