CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - The Chicago Cubs are in Cleveland Monday preparing for their first World Series since 1945 and equipment manufacturers are working full tilt to make sure they have the equipment to get the job done.

By the time practice begins, Louisville Slugger will have delivered brand new baseball bats to the team in time for their scheduled 3 p.m. CST workout.

Maple bats, the wood of choice for this year's World Series participants, were made Monday for the National League Champions.

Jersey manufacturer Majestic Athletic is also producing the on-field uniforms that will appear beginning Tuesday night in Cleveland.

The company is hand-stitching World Series patches on the sleeves of the Cubs uniforms at its Easton, Pennsylvania facility.
