CPD responds with class after Cleveland police throw shade at Cubs

FOX 32 NEWS - After Game One of the World Series, Cleveland Police tweeted out a message making fun of how the Cubs played.

The tweet read: “Missing persons report filed for @Cubs offense. #RallyTogether #gooseegg #GoTribe @Indians”

And now, the Chicago Police Department showed some class by posting a simple tweet showing their support for the Cubbies.

The tweet read: “Shake it off ! Tomorrow is game 2 ! @Cubs CPD supports you ! #FlyTheW”

The Indians won Game One 6-0. Game Two is Wednesday night in Cleveland, and hopefully the Cubs can bounce back.

The World Series comes home to Chicago starting Friday through Sunday. If the Cubs win some games at home, maybe CPD can fire off a clever tweet to get back at Cleveland PD. :)

If needed, Game 6 and 7 will be Tuesday and Wednesday.
