CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - The Chicago Cubs have fired the Wrigley Field DJ who played an inappropriate song during Aroldis Chapman's appearance at Sunday night's game, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The song, “Smack My B---- Up” by English band The Prodigy, was played over the stadium’s public address system after Chapman left the mound in the ninth inning.

The 90s song is infamous for its gratuitous lyrics about violence against women.

Chapman served a 30-game suspension with the Yankees before he became a Cub when he was accused of choking his girlfriend and firing eight bullets in his garage.
