Crash in Kennedy express lanes snarls morning commute
CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - All express lanes of the inbound Kennedy Expressway were temporarily closed after a downtown rollover crash Wednesday morning.
The three-vehicle crash happened just after 6 a.m. on inbound I-94 near Ohio, according to Illinois State Police. One of the vehicles rolled over.
“Minor injuries” were reported in the crash, although it was not immediately clear how many people were hurt or whether anyone was transported to a hospital, state police said.
All express lanes were closed after the crash, but they had been reopened by 6:35 a.m., police said.
