CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) – Chicago-area airports are already being impacted by the impending blizzard on the East Coast.
Many flights have been preemptively canceled out of both Chicago airports in anticipation for the snowstorm on the East Coast.
More than 135 flights are already cancelled in to and out of O'Hare Friday with 74 more canceled Saturday.
And nearly 60 flights are canceled Friday in and out of Midway. There are 42 cancelations scheduled for Saturday.
More cancellations are expected.
It’s estimated that 1 in 4 Americans will be impacted somehow by this storm.

Experts recommend checking flightaware.com for live flight updates.
They also suggest booking a hotel ahead near the airport, if you anticipate getting stuck trying to head back from a snowstorm affected area.
