A ground stop delayed flights for a few hours at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport on Saturday because of an equipment outage.

What we know:

The ground stop was issued a little before noon and was expected to last until around 3 p.m., but appeared to have expired by around 1:30 p.m., according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

It was unclear exactly what kind of equipment outage led to the ground stop.
