The DIY nature behind Chicago's food swap movement

It's an event that brings together home cooks, bakers and gardeners every month to trade and barter their homemade and homegrown foods.

Deemed the Chicago Food Swap, the culinary-trade event is coming back to the Windy City this summer.

Founder of the swap, Emily Paster, joins Good Day Chicago to talk about the food swapping movement and her book "Food Swap: Specialty Recipes for Bartering, Sharing & Giving."
