Air quality alert issued for Humboldt Park after bus engulfs in flames: alderperson

CHICAGO - An air quality alert was issued for Humboldt Park after a private bus caught fire Saturday afternoon. 

Alderperson for the 26th Ward Jessie Fuentes wrote on X, formerly Twitter, that residents should use caution for the next few hours. 

The bus caught fire at 1215 North Humboldt Drive around 1 p.m.

Firefighters are on scene.
