Fire breaks out at Lemont auto body shop
LEMONT, Ill. - An auto body shop in Lemont caught fire Tuesday morning in the southwest suburb.
The fire broke out around 5 a.m. in the front office area of Reed's Automotive Enterprises, located at 926 Main St., according to the Lemont Fire District.
Roughly 30 firefighters were called to the scene and the fire was under control after roughly half an hour.
No injuries have been reported. Main Street was blocked off between Julia Street and Talcott Avenue.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
