An argument over the price of cigarettes escalated after a man brought a loaded rifle into a Florida convenience store.

Lauderhill police said they arrested 60-year-old Robert Miller after he became upset over the price of two packs of cigarettes. The incident took place on December 21 around 5 p.m. at the Lauderhill Supermarket in the 2000 block of Northwest 49th Avenue.

Officials said Miller brought the loaded assault rifle into the store. He initially left because the price was $11 and he only had $10, investigators said.

He became so upset about the dollar difference that he returned with his rifle to confront the clerk, according to officials. Surveillance video showed he left the store without injuring anyone.

According to WSVN, a judge gave Miller a $25,000 bond, a GPS ankle monitor and ordered him to stay away from the store.
