Car crashes into Highland Park hospital emergency entrance

A car slammed into a hospital Emergency Room entrance in the suburbs Thursday morning. The vehicle struck the NorthShore Highland Park Hospital located at 777 Park Avenue West.

HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. - A vehicle crashed into an emergency entrance at a hospital in Highland Park Thursday morning. 

Highland Park police and fire crews responded to NorthShore University HealthSystem - Highland Park Hospital at 8:15 a.m.

The car crashed into the emergency room entrance located at 777 Park Avenue West. 

Investigators say the crash was accidental. 

The driver was evaluated. No other injuries were reported.
