Man who caused Oak Brook school lockdown arrested

OAK BROOK (STMW) - The man who prompted the soft lockdown of a middle school in west suburban Oak Brook on Tuesday has been arrested.

Eric Collier, 40, of Dixon, was arrested for violating an order of protection about 3:40 p.m., according to a statement from Oak Brook police.

Collier had been involved in a domestic incident earlier Tuesday in the 0-100 block of Chatham that caused the soft lockdown of Oak Brook Middle School.

He was ordered to post 10 percent of a $25,000 bond and given a no contact order and required to wear a GPS unit.
