Fmr. City Councilman Dick Simpson sounds off on Emanuel

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - In the wake of the release of the Laquan McDonald shooting video, Mayor Rahm Emanuel fired Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy.

But some critics say the mayor's action was not enough, and activists are now demanding Emanuel himself resign.

Former City Council member and current UIC political science professor Dick Simpson joined Good Day Chicago to talk about whether Emanuel’s reasons for letting McCarthy go should also apply to him.
