Increased security on local trains in light of Paris attacks

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - The entire world is on a heightened alert after a series of deadly attacks in Paris Friday night. And here in Chicago, there's a stepped up effort to protect commuters who ride the trains.

Don't be surprised If you see more police on the CTA , Metra, and the South Shore lines Monday morning. Officials say there will be a beefed up police presence on the commuter lines in light of the Paris attacks.

While leaders say there is no specific threat against the city of Chicago, it is wise to implement some extra precautions. 

Transit security officials are also reminding riders to speak up if you see something suspicious while riding the train.
