Second Amendment supporters rally across country, while gun control advocates gather at NRA HQ

Rallies for and against gun control

FAIRFAX, Virginia (Fox 32 News) - Second Amendment supporters and gun control supporters took to the streets on Saturday in several cities around the country.

Students from Parkland, Florida, joined young people from other states to protest outside NRA headquarters on Saturday in Fairfax, Virginia. Saturday marked two months since 17 people were murdered at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.

Around the same time, Second Amendment supporters held rallies in more than a dozen states across the country. Some people came armed with guns and some waved Confederate flags. Many of the rallies were held at state capitols to push back against fresh attempts to enact stricter gun control laws.
