Blue Line trains back in service between O'Hare and Rosemont

Sun-Times file

CHICAGO (STMW) - CTA Blue Line trains are operating again, but with residual delays, after an earlier loss of power at O’Hare cut service between the airport and Rosemont for more than an hour.

Trains are moving and normal service is being restored, the CTA said about 2:15 p.m.

Just before 1 p.m. the transit agency said Blue Line service was on the north end because of “loss of power.”

Shuttle buses were available to provide connecting service.

Customers are still advised to allow extra travel time, according to the CTA.
