Roseland shooting: Man seriously wounded in drive-by on Chicago's South Side

CHICAGO - A man was seriously wounded in a drive-by shooting Monday on Chicago's South Side.

Around 4:23 p.m., police say the male victim was near the sidewalk in the first block of E. 100th Place when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired shots.

The victim was struck multiple times in the body and taken to Christ Hospital in serious condition.

Nobody was reported in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
