Music legend Mavis Staples gets her own documentary on HBO

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - She's the legendary singer from Chicago who made a name for herself back in 1957  singing with her family band "The Staples Singers."

Now, Grammy award winner Mavis Staples is getting the HBO treatment with the new documentary "Mavis!"

It premieres on the channel on February 29 and features interviews with the likes of Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt and Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy.
