K-pop band BTS announces Soldier Field show

South Korean boy-band sensation BTS will return to Chicago this spring as part of an extended run of their "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself" tour.

The K-pop group will play one show at Soldier Field on Saturday, May 11. The date is one of eight stadium shows announced as an extension of their current worldwide tour.

BTS kicks off the stadium shows on May 4 at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles before traveling through Soldier Field, and MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The group will then peform in Brazil, London, Paris, and Japan.

The group last performed in Chicago at two sold out shows at the United Center in October 2018.
