Chicago-area nurses strike as staffing concerns, OB service cuts spark protests

Nurses are holding strikes Thursday at Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital and Olympia Fields Hospital over contract negotiations and planned maternity service cuts, while Prime Healthcare says hospitals will remain open and patient care will not be affected.
