'Home Alone' house in Winnetka sells for $5.5M — $250K over asking price
WINNETKA, Ill. - The north suburban home that was featured in the film, "Home Alone" is officially off the market.
The Winnetka home was listed on May 24, 2024 and recently sold for $5.5 million – $250,000 over its asking price.
What we know:
The home, located at 671 Lincoln Avenue, was listed by Coldwell Banker Realty, initially for $5,250,000.
On Thursday, the listing's status was changed to "closed" and was confirmed to be sold, but further details on the buyers haven't been released.

Features of the House:
According to the listing agency, the home, built in 1921, underwent a full renovation and expansion in 2018.
The 9,126-square-foot home has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and also has a fully-equipped gym, an indoor sports court, a wet bar and a state-of-the-art movie theater, a hot tub, a three-car garage and several other amenities.
The property was listed in May 2011 and was sold in March 2012 for $1,585,000. It was then re-listed on Friday, May 24, 2024.
