Riot Fest tickets on sale despite pending permit application with Chicago Park District
CHICAGO - Riot Fest organizers are looking to win over neighbors with just three months until their scheduled opening act.
A virtual community meeting was held Wednesday where organizers promised to make a slew of changes to the mega fest this year.

Neighbors of Douglass Park have been pushing for the park district to revoke permits for mega festivals because of past issues, including trash and lack of access to the public park during the summer months.
Riot Fest is scheduled for Sept. 15 through Sept. 17.
Tickets are currently on sale despite their pending permit application with the park district.
