Matteson police give update after 9-year-old boy fatally shot: 'Utterly deplorable'

Omuiri Jones Brown was shot outside his home in Matteson around 6 p.m. Thursday evening, Police Chief Mike Jones. A 20-year-old victim was injured in the same shooting that happened during a fight in the neighborhood. Jones called on legislators to evaluate gun violence in Chicago-area communities.
