FDA approves first over-the-counter birth control pill

For the first time ever, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved an over the counter birth control pill. A once-a-day pill called Opill should become available in the next year. Birth control is not "one size fits all." This method is a progestogen only pill. Potential users should contact their doctor with questions.
