Family of Chicago assistant principal killed in his apartment file lawsuit

A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against the property manager of The Legacy at Millenium Park apartments in connection to a Chicago assistant principal's death. Abnerd Joseph was shot and killed by a fellow building resident during an emotional crisis in September 2023. The lawsuit also names the building's security company.
