Police-involved shooting on Chicago's West Side leaves man dead

A man is dead and another is in critical condition after police fired shots at the two during a violent attack. Officers came across a stabbing in progress and shot at the offender, also striking the victim in the process. The offender was killed and the other man was listed in critical condition.
