Firehouse Block Party for Peace returns for 17th year

The North Lawndale neighborhood will gather for the 17th Annual Firehouse Block Party for Peace on Aug. 24. The family-friendly event has music, food, bounce houses, breakdancing and more. Rapper Big K.R.I.T. will be coming the festivites this year.
