Idaho lawmaker discusses trans athlete law amid Supreme Court case | ChicagoLIVE

Idaho State Representative Barbara Ehardt, who authored one of the state laws now being considered as part of a major Supreme Court case, joins us to explain her position on transgender athletes in women’s sports. Ehardt says the law is intended to protect women’s athletic opportunities, arguing that women cannot fairly compete against men and that opportunities for female athletes are being lost.
