Chicago mayor leads celebration as city marks 189 years

Mayor Brandon Johnson kicked off Chicago’s 189th birthday with a celebration at Lookingglass Theatre, highlighting the city’s history, culture and growth from 4,000 residents in 1837 to nearly 2.7 million today.
