Della Donne scored 31 points, Sky beat Fever 95-72

Elena Della Donne scored 31 points and the Chicago Sky beat the Indiana Fever 95-72 on Friday night to win their fourth consecutive WNBA opener.

The Sky raised their Eastern Conference championship banner prior to the tip, took a double digit lead 5 minutes into the game and led by 13 at intermission, 51-38. Chicago outscored Indiana 22-14 in the final 10 minutes.

Delle Donne was 11 of 20 from the field, 9 of 10 from the free throw line and had eight rebounds, four blocks and three steals.

Courtney Vandersloot added 13 points for Chicago, which got points from every player on its roster and shot 36 of 78 from the field (46.2 percent).

Marissa Coleman scored 18 points to lead Indiana and Natalie Achonwa added 10. The Fever shot just 26 of 66 from the field (39.4 percent). They hit 7 of 20 3-points, but committed 20 turnovers.

This story has been corrected to show the first name of the player is Delle, not Della.
