Home damaged in Mount Prospect by 'ding dong ditchers': police

Mount Prospect police are looking for some teens behind a prank that damaged a home.

MOUNT PROSPECT, Ill. - Mount Prospect police are looking for some teens behind a prank that damaged a home.

The teens were reportedly trying to "ding dong ditch" by ringing doorbells and banging loudly on doors before running away.

Police say at one home, they hit the door with such force that the door frame was damaged.

The incident was captured on ring camera.
