Man, 27, shot in Austin

CHICAGO - A 27-year-old man was shot Sunday in Austin on the West Side.

About 2:50 p.m. the man was standing in the 900 block of North Lockwood Avenue when someone approached him and opened fire, Chicago police said.

He was grazed by a bullet on his hand, treated at the scene and released, police said.

Area North detectives are investigating the shooting.
