Man critically wounded in South Chicago shooting
CHICAGO - A 26-year-old man was critically wounded Sunday in a shooting in South Chicago on the South Side.
About 6 p.m., he was sitting on the front porch of a residence in the 8700 block of South Baltimore Avenue, when he heard shots and felt a pain, Chicago police said.
He was rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
Area South detectives are investigating the shooting.
