'Medical emergency' at Granville halts Red Line service

CHICAGO - Red Line service was disrupted Monday night because of a “medical emergency” at the Granville station in Edgewater Beach on the North Side.

Trains were standing near the station about 10:31 p.m. because of an emergency on the tracks, the CTA said in an alert.

No further details were immediately available.
