Cook County approves $20M for new quantum tech facility on Chicago’s South Side

The Cook County Board of Commissioners has approved a $20 million grant to the University of Illinois for a new cryogenic facility at PsiQuantum, the anchor tenant of the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park on Chicago’s southern lakefront.
