Judge grants class action status in Broadview ICE facility lawsuit

A federal judge has granted class certification in a lawsuit against the Broadview ICE facility. The suit, filed by two former detainees, accuses the center of inhumane conditions — including clogged toilets, lack of showers, limited food and water, and no access to attorneys.
