CTA given 90 days to fix safety plan or lose federal funding | ChicagoLIVE

Federal transit officials have rejected the CTA’s latest safety plan, warning the agency it has 90 days to submit a stronger proposal or risk losing 25 percent of its federal operating funds. FTA Administrator Marcus J. Molinaro said the CTA “failed to meet that expectation."
