ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE: WFLD is seeking an experienced Account Executive. The Account Executive will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing clients and targeting prospective customers to sell comprehensive advertising campaigns utilizing all platforms including television and digital performing the following duties. Responsible for obtaining revenue goals in all facets including existing accounts, new business, zero share business and digital. Meet regularly with sales management and digital team to communicate sales goals, new business development and forecasts. Proficient in negotiation skills utilizing Neilsen ratings and qualitative research. Possess strong written and oral communication skills including strong presentation skills. Ability to identify and target new business opportunities and hit quarterly sales goals as assigned. Call on prospective clients and present outlines of various programs, packages and opportunities for both linear and non-linear platforms. Create and present marketing plans to encourage the use of FOX in their advertising mix. Process all paperwork related to account lists accurately, completely and in a timely manner. Work with Credit Manager to ensure appropriate credit references are furnished and timely payments are received for business sold. Demonstrate responsibility for any and all equipment issued by Fox. Represent WFLD/WPWR in a professional manner at all times. Regular attendance. Comply with all Fox Corporation computer requirements - myfoxpay, e-Learning, password protection, computer usage, etc. Comply with all Fox Corporation and Station policies - Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption, Insider Trading, etc. Duties as assigned. Entertain clients. Local/regional travel. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred. Minimum five year's sales/advertising experience. Possess proficient skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint (a plus). Knowledge of Wide Orbit preferred. Extremely organized, self-motivated, sales driven, team-oriented, works well under pressure in a fast paced environment. Good listening skills along with relationship building qualities. Must maintain a valid driver's license.

PRODUCER: WFLD’S News Department is seeking an experienced individual for an immediate opportunity in its newsroom as a Producer. The Producer will generate fresh and engaging content to newscasts and digital. He/she is accountable for gathering, writing, editing and producing content along with supporting anchors and reporters. The Producer will edit VOs, SOTs, teases and the occasional PKG for newscasts; mine and facilitate content to news and digital teams; download video and create placeholders within rundown. This person will serve as a “go-to” person for EPs, assignment editors, reporters, photographers and editors regarding editing and video requests. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communications, journalism, or broadcast preferred. Minimum of five years’ experience in a medium to large television market preferred. Ability to mine content from all sources and possess the technological expertise to write, edit, produce and distribute content to all platforms is required. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge and understanding the latest ways to utilize social media, both as a news gathering tool and to communicate with our audience. ANCHOR/REPORTER: WFLD has a fantastic opportunity for a News Anchor/Reporter that has a dynamic on-air presence and can connect with our audience. This position requires a candidate that can anchor, report and produce content for the newscast. The News Anchor/Reporter will be responsible for anchoring the newscast and cut-ins, reporting on news, including a regular franchise segment, producing when needed, and contributing to the station’s image in the community. The News Anchor/Reporter will take an active role in daily digital and social media publishing. The right candidate will be self-motivated, organized, possess strong journalism skills and have the ability to connect with our audiences across multi-platforms. Possess a degree in journalism or related field and have at least three years of experience as a News Anchor or Reporter is required; the ability to communicate well in a live setting; the willingness to travel and work weekends/nights required; must have a demonstrable resume reel of live and packaged reports on subjects ranging from serious hard news to lighter, feature stories. Freelance Production Technician: WFLD/WPWR has an opening for a skilled Freelance Production Technician. The Production Technician will operate auxiliary equipment as part of FOX32's live news and sports productions. These include but are not limited to robotic cameras, graphics and audio. The Production Technician will serve as the technical co-pilot for all news and sports programming. Experience with studio LED lighting, ETC lighting consoles, Ross studio camera robotics, Calrec audio consoles, and Chyron graphics systems is preferred. Candidate should have experience in an automated production control room environment. Interaction with talent and guests using excellent interpersonal communication, verbal skills and a professional demeanor is critical. Others duties may include recording news and programming feeds and tuning in Satellite and Microwave signals. Preparing content for broadcast by ingesting and timing media as well as judging technical quality. Previous experience with or ability to learn Grass Valley iTX master control automation system is also helpful. Knowledge of windows server/client platforms, high performance storage systems, and video encoding/delivery systems is a plus. REQUIREMENTS: Five or more years of television production experience, preferred; strong attention to detail and the ability to proactively isolate and resolve technical problems within network and broadcast systems; a team player that is able to work independently as required; previous experience and knowledge in an IT architecture and infrastructure is a plus.
